Somatic Release: A Yin Journey Through the Seven Chakras
What if the body already knows what the mind is still trying to understand?
This interactive workshop explores the chakra system as a framework for understanding how stress, emotion, and lived experience can be held in the body. Through guided discussion, reflective inquiry, and a few supportive Yin postures, participants will explore each of the seven chakras and the ways the shadow and light side of them relate to physical sensation, emotional patterns, and personal awareness.

Rather than approaching the chakras as something to fix, this experience invites curiosity and embodied listening. As we move through each energetic center, participants will explore themes such as grounding, creativity, personal power, connection, expression, intuition, and meaning. Short Yin holds and somatic cues will create space to slow down, notice internal sensations, and gently support release.

Throughout the workshop, participants will:
• Gain a foundational understanding of the seven chakras and their relationship to the body and emotional experience.
• Explore how stress and tension may be stored physically and how somatic awareness can support release.
• Experience how Yin postures and mindful stillness can deepen body awareness and reflection.
• Learn simple self-inquiry and somatic practices that can support grounding and balance in daily life.

This workshop is beginner-friendly and welcoming!
