Precious Stepney, MPA, RYT 500
After 20 years of leadership in behavioral healthcare and public service, Precious now focuses her work on integrative wellness, somatic practices, and yogic philosophy. She is the founder of Body Mind Stretch, a somatic wellness coaching practice that integrates embodied movement, mindfulness, and body-based tools to support individuals seeking balance, restoration, and deeper connection to themselves.
Precious is a Master of Social Work candidate at the UNC Chapel Hill School of Social Work (anticipated August 2026) and currently serves as a Social Work Intern at The Well Mental and Spiritual Care Raleigh, where she is supports a caseload while building clinical skills in integrative somatic therapy. She is also a Duke Health–trained Health and Wellness Coach, a registered yoga instructor, and completed advanced yoga teacher training through I Am Yoga CLT (300-hour).
Her work often incorporates restorative practices such as Yoga Nidra and meditation. Precious is iRest Yoga Nidra Level 2 trained and is passionate about creating welcoming spaces where people can slow down, regulate the nervous system, and experience deep rest and renewal.
